The new class of yeast spreads - no longer based on conventional yeasts (possible in organic products until the beginning of 2014), but with newly-developed organic yeast, grown on a nutrient medium of organic cereals and soy. This new organic tofu yeast is responsible for a fine melting quality and a wonderfully full, yet mild flavour.
